Edwardian photos

As well as the boats and trains there are also some more curious travelling contraptions. This strange photo could have been taken in England but I think the helmet the man is wearing (and the roof over his head) suggest India. Perhaps strangest of all the horse appears to be a very fine animal indeed, not at all like a cart horse. Jonathan Brind, May 2008.
